Lindsey Moore- Superintendent/Principal
I am thrilled to begin another amazing school year as the Superintendent/Principal of Knights Ferry School! Knights Ferry is a truly special place, and I feel incredibly fortunate to serve a school and community that my family has loved for years.
My husband and I have three wonderful children, all of whom have either attended or currently attend Knights Ferry School. Being both a parent and an educator here gives me a unique appreciation for the strong relationships, caring staff, and exceptional opportunities our school provides.
When I'm not at school, you'll usually find me spending time with my family or taking care of our growing collection of animals! Our little ranch is home to goats, chickens, ducks, emus, dogs, and two very spoiled pigs named Petunia and Elvis, who always keep life entertaining. I also love traveling and making memories with my family whenever we get the chance.
I am excited for another fantastic year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences for our students. I look forward to partnering with our families and community as we continue to make Knights Ferry School a place where every child can thrive. Here's to a wonderful school year!

I am so excited to open our new full day stand-alone transitional kindergarten class this year. For the last two years I have taught first grade at KFS, but I have been a preschool teacher in the past. Like so many of the staff with a deep passion for our little school, my children have also attended here. I have been involved for many years, first volunteering as an art teacher before becoming a regular substitute teacher and finally a first-grade teacher. This coming school year will be one of lots of love and joy as I assist our littlest learners on their education journey.

I began my teaching career at Knights Ferry School teaching third grade via Zoom during COVID. Now that was an experience I don’t want to repeat, but even then, I could tell that Knights Ferry School and its staff and families made it something special. I am beginning my sixth year at Knights Ferry School and am still delighted to be teaching third grade, a year full of new experiences and a shift to more analytical learning. I bring an energetic teaching style to my class, firm in the belief that learning should be fun. Outside of school, I love to spend time with my husband and dog. I also love to read, go on walks, and travel around the world!

My name is Mrs. Phillips, and I am thrilled to be part of the Knights Ferry Elementary family. Growing up in the local area has given me a deep appreciation for this community, and I am honored to now teach here. I love creating hands-on, engaging learning experiences that encourage students to explore, ask questions, and enjoy the learning process. I believe every child can succeed when they feel supported, challenged, and excited to come to school each day. Jenna Miller - Middle School Teacher ELA and Social Studies
With more than 25 years of teaching experience, I have been proud to serve the students and families of Knights Ferry School since 2020. I believe that education is about more than academics—it's also about building character, fostering kindness, and creating a strong sense of community where every student feels valued and supported. I am passionate about helping students grow both in and out of the classroom. I am a die-hard fan of the Fighting Irish of the University of Notre Dame where I attended graduate school. When I'm not teaching or cheering on Notre Dame, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, including my dog Buddy. I'm always up for a traveling adventure, especially when the destination is Austin, Branson, South Bend, Santa Cruz or South Lake Tahoe.

My children are Knights Ferry alum with two of my children attending the “little school on the hill” from kindergarten through 8th grade. My grandsons have also attended Knights Ferry School for periods of time so I have been involved for quite a long while. I enjoy contributing to the school in many ways in my current position as well as throwing in some non-custodial activities like running the slime table during our annual Water Day and volunteering to help at the Oakdale Morning Market and Rodeo Parade.
